NBC News has interviewed Wild Africa founders Peter Knights OBE and Corie Knights.
The feature highlights how Wild Africa is working to protect Africa’s wildlife and wild spaces by harnessing the power of mass media. Through mini-documentaries, news stories, social media, music concerts, television series, and ambassador public service announcements, the organisation raises awareness and drives conservation action. The goal is to bring these conservation stories to local communities, as well as governmental leaders and decision-makers.
Wild Africa currently works with more than 85 media partners and over 200 ambassadors across 10 countries.
Peter and Corie also share more about their personal history in animal conservation and their deep passion for protecting Africa’s wildlife, even while living in the Bay Area, California.
