Testimonials from our guests
My first safari experience in Botswana was nothing short of life changing, and so much of that was thanks to Wild Africa’s introduction to Wilderness and our incredible friend and guide, Corie Knights.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was far more than just a luxury travel experience – it was an immersive education in conservation, wildlife protection, and the delicate balance between humans and nature. Wild Africa’s commitment to preserving these extraordinary ecosystems while educating local communities was deeply inspiring and gave our trip so much meaning.
Having Corie travel with us on our first safari was truly inspiring. With over 70 safaris under her belt, her vast knowledge of travel throughout Africa along with her passion for wildlife conservancy created a calm, safe, and welcoming environment, allowing us to fully relax and absorb the magic around us.
This trip opened my eyes in so many ways, and I left with not only incredible memories, but also a much deeper appreciation for the importance of protecting these wild places for future generations. I cannot recommend Wild Africa, Wilderness and Corie Knights highly enough. It was truly one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life.

My time in Botswana with Wild Africa and Wilderness was far more than a safari. It was one of the most meaningful and perspective-shifting experiences of my life.
What Wild Africa is creating goes beyond travel. They are building bridges between conservation, education, local communities, and the people fortunate enough to witness these wild places firsthand. Every moment carried a deeper purpose. You could feel the reverence for the land, the animals, and the understanding that protecting these ecosystems is not optional. It is essential.
Having Corie guide us through this experience changed everything. She has a rare gift for making people feel both completely safe and completely awake to the world around them. Her knowledge of Africa, wildlife, conservation, and the rhythm of the bush is extraordinary, but it is her heart that leaves the deepest impression. Corie doesn’t simply take you on safari. She invites you into a relationship with the wild.
One of the most beautiful parts of this journey was realizing that the greatest luxury wasn’t the camps or the landscapes, though they were breathtaking. It was the opportunity to slow down enough to truly see. To witness nature functioning in harmony. To experience communities connected to the land. To remember what matters.
I left Africa profoundly moved, deeply grateful, and forever changed. I cannot recommend Wild Africa, Wilderness, and Corie Knights highly enough. What they are creating is important, powerful, and unforgettable.

The opportunity to travel on safari with Peter & Corie Knights exceeded all of our expectations, and even some we hadn’t even considered. From the beautiful lodges and the experienced and knowledgeable trackers to the outrageously curated fine dining experiences, we couldn’t have had a more spectacular time. The 14 days we spent viewing some of the most magnificent animals on earth were some of the most remarkable experiences we have ever had. In fact, we loved it so much, we’re headed back again at the end of the year with Peter & Corie and this time sharing it with our adult children! We can’t wait to get there!

I recently had the trip of a lifetime to Africa with Corie and Peter Knights of Wild Africa. In Rwanda, we had the breathtaking opportunity to observe wild golden monkeys and mountain gorillas — including a majestic Papa Silverback. In Tanzania, the journey continued with unforgettable sightings of nearly every iconic animal one hopes to see on safari. The most awe-inspiring moment came as we witnessed the Great Migration: thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing a river, while crocodiles and hippos lay in wait — a raw and powerful display of nature.
Before this trip, I had already taken an interest in the work of Wild Africa. But after spending time with local communities and witnessing firsthand the extraordinary wildlife and landscapes of this continent, my appreciation deepened into genuine passion. I became truly inspired by Wild Africa’s mission to promote peaceful coexistence between people and wildlife. Corie and Peter’s deep understanding of conservation and their ability to engage media and global influencers allow them to maximize the impact of every dollar raised. Shortly after returning home, I proudly joined the Board and am committed to supporting the incredible work of Wild Africa — now and always.

When we set out to plan our inaugural journey to Africa, choosing to travel with Corie and Peter Knights of Wild Africa was a straightforward decision. With over 50 safari groups under their belt and over 100 trips to the continent between them, they possess unparalleled knowledge of the stunning locations worth visiting. Our adventure began in Rwanda, where we embarked on a trek to observe the majestic mountain gorillas. Initially, I felt a twinge of apprehension coming to Africa for the first time and seeing these massive gorillas up close, but Corie’s presence offered reassurance, allowing me to embrace the awe-inspiring beauty of these incredible creatures. I can genuinely say it was the highlight of my life.
Following our time in Rwanda, we traveled to Tanzania to experience the breathtaking Serengeti National Park. Our camp was nothing short of perfect, featuring exquisite tents, delicious meals, and a warm atmosphere that made us feel like family. Witnessing the great migration was a surreal experience; we spent an hour observing the dramatic crossing, a sight I wish everyone could witness. The spectacle of thousands of wildebeests and zebras migrating from Kenya to Tanzania, with crocodiles and hippos navigating the waters, is truly unforgettable.Corie and Peter’s extensive knowledge of Africa’s wildlife and cultures significantly enriched our journey. They expertly crafted an itinerary that encompassed three distinctly different regions, each offering unique experiences.
Our final lodge was breathtaking, and we had the privilege of meeting a local tribe that graciously welcomed us into their homes. One of the most enlightening days was spent walking alongside the bushmen, providing us with profound insights. In summary, my experience can be encapsulated by the sense of family I felt with Corie and Peter. Every detail of the trip was executed flawlessly, and I developed a deep affection not only for the animals but also for every individual I encountered in Africa. This journey was merely the beginning, as Africa is a land that nourishes the soul.

All of our most memorable travels have been with Corie and Pete. Beginning with a 2013 trip to swim with whale sharks and manta rays, through a 2023 safari in the magical national parks of Zimbabwe, to a planned 2026 voyage through the Galapagos, we have been entranced, educated, and – I’ll admit – coddled, as we visited some of the most extraordinary landscapes on our planet.
We are so grateful that Corie thinks of everything, from helping disparate group members connect with each other to ensuring that every meal is delicious and every bed is luxurious. Most importantly, we appreciated how they gently refocus our attention, almost imperceptibly interweaving lessons about conservation and community preservation into each day so that we come home from each trip with a new perspective. Traveling with Wild Africa is the adventure of a lifetime, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Recently, I had the opportunity to go to Africa with our incredible hosts Peter and Corie Knights who showed us through direct contact with the wildlife of Africa, how educational opportunities through media have made the most significant impact on wildlife that I have ever witnessed. We saw first-hand all the safeguards in place to protect Africa’s National Treasure. Peter and Corie cultivate a warm generous climate that takes care of our every need. I had the most amazing interactions with wildlife and had the opportunity to be in the most incredible places on the planet due to their knowledge and understanding of Africa and its wildlife populations and unique habitats.
I am profoundly grateful to Peter and Corie for introducing us to all the contributors and how they interact to protect wildlife, and for making the entire family know that they were now a part of something so big and dynamic, that it took my breath away. Their generosity will be with me for a lifetime. If you have an opportunity to be a part of contributing through a trip with the Knights, it single handedly might be the most incredible, significant, and life changing event. My heartfelt thank you for all that they are doing to protect the treasures of Africa for generations, and for allowing us to be a part of it.

What an amazing journey through Zimbabwe we had with Wild Africa! Corie and Peter Knights selected beautiful lodges, brought in important speakers, and were extremely knowledgeable about Africa and its endangered wildlife. Every detail was beautifully arranged, from the flights from lodge to lodge, the treks by jeep and on foot to see incredible wildlife explained by extremely learned guides, the sunrise breakfast safaris, the sunset cocktails, the stunning views, and the hike along Victoria Falls. Truly, it was the experience of a lifetime.
