“Wild Africa” TV series coming to screens across South Africa

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

This timeless African proverb was at the heart of our recent South African soft launch for “Wild Africa”, a first-of-its-kind wildlife TV series dedicated to showcasing the inspiring people, places, and initiatives working to protect our continent’s wildlife and wild spaces.

Held in Cape Town, the event brought together conservation leaders, media, brand ambassadors, and regional partners. Guests were treated to an exclusive sneak peek of the series, with Homebrew and Filmscape bringing the experience to life on South Africa’s very first LED volume stage. CEO Peter Knights also unveiled Wild Africa’s latest conservation campaigns in a brand-new showreel.

“Wild Africa” was created specifically for African audiences, with presenters Rumbie Takawira, Dr. Mark Ofua, and Zandile Ndhlovu taking viewers on a journey across the continent. Some incredible stories include a sea turtle rescue in Nigeria, bonobo tracking in the DRC, and Temminck’s ground pangolin conservation in Namibia.
